The discussion board allows you to share information and experiences with other governors.
To contribute to a discussion, you will need to register with GovernorNet. To do this either click on the Register link below, or Register Here at the top of the screen. When registering you will have the option to have your email address shown next to your posts. Please note that this means that anyone will be able to view your email address, and you may be susceptible to spam.
When contributing to the discussion board it is important that you do not name any individuals or schools and users must be careful about what they post. Do not under any circumstances disclose sensitive information. This is a public forum which anybody can see, and your user name is displayed next to your post. You may wish to use a nickname rather than displaying your full name. If you wish to edit your user name, log in to GovernorNet and click on the link called 'user profile' near the top of the page.
Posts containing names of individuals or schools, or sensitive information will be moderated or removed as appropriate. See the rules for further information. Any posts which can be construed as libellous will be removed, and users who do not adhere to the rules will be suspended from the forum.
The discussion board is not primarily intended as a forum for dialogue between governors and the DCSF, but is intended as a forum for peer discussion amongst governors. If you require a response from the DCSF you need to send your query to the DCSF Public Communications Unit at [email protected] or telephone 0870 000 2288.
